  • @Shak: I think that you're generally right about when the plane is in the air. But dogs have died while planes have been waiting on the runway. Five dogs died in Atlanta a few years ago, in the cargo hold, as their plane was waiting to take off:

  • Ah, I saw a reference to the eye in the FAQs, so I was wondering why it wasn't showing. I, for one, wish there was a persistent way to get to the watchlist. I guess my bookmark will have to do for now.

  • If your dog is too big to take with you in the main cabin, transporting him/her on a plane is like playing russian roulette. The cargo hold is often without climate control and even pressurization. I would never take my pup on the plane.

  • 1 year in jail?! I can just imagine that poor dog wondering when its owner will be back... completely naive to how selfish humans can be. People like this should be sent to the lion cage in the zoo.
